Norwich and District Pike Club

About Us

We're an independent organisation aiming to provide facilities and benefits for our members while promoting a safe and responsible approach to pike angling and pike conservation. With the legendary Norfolk Broads and several productive tidal rivers on our doorstep, we're bang in the middle of some of the finest piking waters in the country.

Membership of the club provides privileged access (without further payment) to extensive boat fishing facilities on the River Bure, the River Thurne, the River Waveney, the River Yare, at Barton Broad and the Trinity Broads system at Filby & Ormesby St Michael. Please go to Facilities for further details.

Members' meetings are held at 8pm on the first Monday (that is not a Bank Holiday) of each month, when we gather at The Angel Gardens, Angel Road, Norwich, NR3 3HT to discuss all aspects of our sport. Please click here for a map. The recently relaunched Norwich region of the Pike Anglers' Club of Great Britain (PAC) now holds its monthly meetings at the same venue immediately after our meetings and sometimes it's difficult to "see the join" between the two! On occasions, guest speakers visit these meetings to pass on their expertise and experiences. Please click here to vist the PAC website.

Occasional "fish-ins” and an annual Club Championship are arranged for our members on a variety of waters; and we also organise the East Anglian Pike Championship each year, an open match with a first prize of £250. Please go to Diary for all the dates and details.

Our membership year runs from April - March and the membership fee to 31 March 2010 is just £40.00 (under 16’s free). Please go to Join Us for further details.
